My Top 11 Disney World Restaurants That I Never Miss (Ranked)
My Top 11 Disney World Restaurants
This is a list of my My Top 11 Disney World Restaurants, After visiting Walt Disney World many times over the years, I’ve eaten at restaurants in every Disney park, from quick-service locations to signature dining experiences. These are the 11 restaurants I never miss on any Orlando holiday, ranked in order, along with exactly what I order and why I keep coming back.
One of the highlights of every Orlando holiday for me isn’t just the attractions—it’s deciding where we’re going to eat.
Long before I book Lightning Lanes or even think about what rides I want to do, I’m already talking to my brother about where we’re eating on each day of the trip.
Some restaurants I’ve tried once and probably won’t visit again.
Others have become traditions.
They’re the restaurants that make every Orlando holiday feel complete.
This isn’t a list based on TripAdvisor rankings, Michelin stars or what social media says is trending.
These are simply my personal favourites after years of visiting Walt Disney World.
Every restaurant on this list is somewhere I’d happily recommend to my own friends and family, and every recommendation comes from genuine first-hand experience.
If you’re planning your own Orlando holiday, I also recommend staying in a private villa rather than a hotel. After an amazing meal at Disney, there’s nothing better than returning to your own private swimming pool, relaxing in a games room or enjoying an evening in one of our luxury family vacation homes close to the parks. It’s one of the reasons I love villa holidays so much—they let the Disney magic continue long after you’ve left the park.

Why Trust My Rankings?
I’ve visited Walt Disney World many times, and food has become one of my favourite parts of every trip. Every restaurant in this guide is somewhere I’ve personally eaten, enjoyed and returned to. These aren’t recommendations copied from other websites—they’re based entirely on my own experiences.
One thing you’ll notice throughout this guide is that I don’t just tell you where to eat.
I’ll tell you:
- Exactly what I order every time.
- Which dishes I think are worth the money.
- What makes each restaurant special.
- Which atmosphere I enjoy the most.
- Who I’d recommend each restaurant for.
- Whether I’d book it again.
Hopefully, by the end of this guide, you’ll have a much better idea of which Disney World restaurants deserve a place on your own itinerary.
f you’re still planning your Orlando holiday, I’d recommend exploring our Luxury Orlando Vacation Homes and Orlando Vacation Villas, all of which provide an excellent base for visiting Walt Disney World.
1. Yak & Yeti – My Favourite Restaurant in Disney World
If I could only eat at one restaurant in Walt Disney World for the rest of my life, it would be Yak & Yeti in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. In my opinion, it serves the best food anywhere in Disney while also offering fantastic value, brilliant service and a really unique atmosphere.
This restaurant is honestly one of the highlights of every Orlando holiday for me.
Every single trip, it’s one of the first reservations I try to secure.
As soon as you walk inside, you instantly notice how different it feels compared to many Disney restaurants.
The restaurant is themed as an old Himalayan trading house, filled with interesting artefacts collected from across Asia. It’s cool, calm and incredibly relaxing after spending hours walking around Animal Kingdom in the Florida heat.
I genuinely think it’s one of the most beautifully themed restaurants Disney has created.
But as impressive as the atmosphere is…
The food is even better.
What I Always Order
Starter: Korean BBQ Chicken
Main: 44 Farms Burger
Side: Garlic Noodles
If I could recommend just one thing from this entire article, it would actually be the garlic noodles.
They’re only a side dish.
But they’re honestly one of my favourite things I’ve ever eaten anywhere.
They’re rich, buttery, packed with garlic and ridiculously addictive.
The Korean BBQ Chicken is another must-order for me.
It’s the perfect way to start the meal, with loads of flavour and cooked perfectly every time I’ve visited.
Then comes the burger.
The 44 Farms Burger is, without question, my favourite burger anywhere in Walt Disney World.
It’s thick, juicy and always cooked exactly how I like it.
I’ve tried burgers in lots of Disney restaurants over the years, but nothing has ever beaten this one.
Why I Keep Coming Back and why its in My Top 11 Disney World Restaurants
- The best food I’ve had anywhere in Disney.
- Fantastic theming.
- Great value compared to many Disney table-service restaurants.
- Excellent service every time I’ve visited.
- Air-conditioned (which becomes a huge bonus in the middle of summer).
- A menu that’s very different from the standard burgers and fries you’ll find elsewhere.
One thing I also love is its location.
After finishing lunch, you’re only a short walk from Expedition Everest, Kali River Rapids and the Maharajah Jungle Trek, making it a brilliant place to break up your Animal Kingdom day.
Who I’d Recommend It To
- Couples
- Families
- Food lovers
- Anyone visiting Animal Kingdom for the first time
If you’ve never eaten here before, make it a priority.
I honestly think you’re missing one of Disney World’s best restaurants if you skip Yak & Yeti.
My Rating: 5 Stars (10/10)
It’s not just my favourite restaurant in Animal Kingdom.
It’s my favourite restaurant in all of Walt Disney World.

Many families also choose one of our Luxury Villas Near Disney World or Disney Villas in Orlando so they can enjoy a relaxing swim after a full day exploring the parks.
2. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant – The Coolest Atmosphere in Disney
If atmosphere is just as important to you as the food, Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant in Hollywood Studios is one of the most unique dining experiences anywhere in Walt Disney World. Every time I visit, it feels like stepping into a 1950s American drive-in cinema.
I absolutely love this restaurant.
Honestly, it’s probably tied with Yak & Yeti as my favourite.
The concept is brilliant.
Instead of sitting at normal tables, you’re seated inside classic 1950s American cars.
Everyone faces a giant cinema screen showing old science fiction films, cartoons and vintage movie trailers.
I don’t know why…
But every time Tom and Jerry appears on the screen, it makes me smile.
It’s one of those little nostalgic details that makes this restaurant so memorable.
Even before the food arrives, you’re already enjoying the experience.
What I Always Order
Beef Burger
Oreo Milkshake
I always order exactly the same thing.
The burger is consistently excellent.
Fresh, juicy and exactly what I want after a busy morning in Hollywood Studios.
Then comes the Oreo milkshake.
It’s absolutely incredible.
Rich, creamy and one of the best milkshakes I’ve had anywhere in Orlando.
If you only order one drink on your Disney holiday…
Make it this one.
Why I Love Sci-Fi Dine-In
- One of Disney’s best themed restaurants.
- Fantastic burgers.
- Incredible Oreo milkshake.
- Brilliant nostalgia.
- Great place to cool down.
- Feels completely different from anywhere else in Disney.
My Rating: 5 Stars (10/10)
For me, this isn’t just somewhere to eat.
It’s one of the attractions at Hollywood Studios.

3. Via Napoli – The Best Pizza in Walt Disney World
If someone asked me where to find the best pizza in Walt Disney World, I’d recommend Via Napoli without hesitation. In my opinion, it’s not only the best pizza in Disney but one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten anywhere.
Via Napoli has become one of those restaurants that simply has to be part of every Orlando holiday.
Located in the Italy Pavilion at EPCOT, it’s always buzzing with people, the atmosphere is fantastic and the smell of fresh pizza hits you as soon as you walk through the doors.
I’ve eaten pizza all over Europe, including Italy, and Via Napoli genuinely stands out.
One thing I found really interesting was chatting to one of the servers during one of my visits. They explained that the tomato sauce is specially produced to match the same pH level as the tomatoes found around Naples, helping recreate an authentic Neapolitan pizza.
Whether that’s something most people notice or not, I honestly think it works.
The pizza is exceptional.
What I Always Order
Main: Half-Metre Pepperoni Pizza
or
Half-Metre Meat Feast Pizza
I always share the half-metre pizza with my brother.
When it arrives, it’s impossible not to smile.
The pizza comes out on an enormous tray stretching almost the length of the table.
Every time it arrives, people nearby stop and look.
The base is perfectly cooked.
The tomato sauce is rich without being overpowering.
The toppings are generous.
It’s honestly one of the meals I look forward to most before every Orlando holiday.
Why I Never Miss Via Napoli and why its in My Top 11 Disney World Restaurants
- Easily my favourite pizza in Disney.
- Fantastic atmosphere.
- Great for sharing.
- Excellent service.
- Beautiful location inside the Italy Pavilion.
- One of the best value table-service restaurants if you’re sharing a pizza.
Who I’d Recommend It To
- Families
- Couples
- Large groups
- Anyone spending a full day at EPCOT
My Rating: 9.8/10

4. Chefs de France – The Closest Thing to Eating in Paris
Chefs de France is one of the most authentic restaurants in Walt Disney World. If you’ve ever visited France, you’ll appreciate just how well Disney has recreated the atmosphere of a traditional Parisian brasserie.
I’ve travelled around France several times.
Because of that, I think I’m probably more critical than most people when it comes to French restaurants outside France.
Chefs de France genuinely surprised me.
Everything feels authentic.
The décor.
The staff.
The atmosphere.
Even the pace of the meal reminds me of sitting in a café in Paris.
One thing I absolutely love about EPCOT is how seriously Disney takes each country’s pavilion.
The French Cast Members are actually French.
The accents, the conversations and even the little details make the whole pavilion feel incredibly immersive.
It’s one of my favourite places just to wander around.
What I Always Order
Starter: French Onion Soup
Main: Goat’s Cheese Flatbread
The French onion soup is outstanding.
Rich.
Cheesy.
Comforting.
Exactly what you’d expect.
The goat’s cheese flatbread is another favourite of mine.
It might not be the most expensive thing on the menu, but it’s one of those dishes I always look forward to ordering.
Why I Love It
- Feels genuinely French.
- Fantastic atmosphere.
- Great service.
- Excellent food.
- Perfect lunchtime stop in EPCOT.
My Rating: 9.5/10

Planning to spend most of your time at EPCOT? You may enjoy staying in one of our villas within Reunion Resort, Encore Resort Orlando, ChampionsGate Villas or Margaritaville Villas, all of which offer easy access to Disney World while giving you far more space than a traditional hotel.
5. Teppan Edo – Dinner and Entertainment Combined
Teppan Edo offers one of the most entertaining dining experiences in Walt Disney World. The food is excellent, but watching the chefs prepare your meal in front of you is what makes this restaurant so memorable.
I’ve also spent time travelling around Japan.
One thing I really appreciate about Teppan Edo is that it feels authentic rather than theatrical.
The chefs are genuinely Japanese.
Their knife skills are incredible.
The cooking is precise.
The food speaks for itself.
Of course, there’s plenty of entertainment too.
The chefs joke with guests, flip ingredients into the air and put on a brilliant performance throughout the meal.
It’s the perfect restaurant if you’re celebrating something special or simply want dinner to become part of the day’s entertainment.
What I Always Order
Main: Teppanyaki Steak
Sides: Fried Rice and Vegetables
Everything arrives fresh from the grill only a few feet away from your table.
Watching your meal being prepared makes the whole experience even more enjoyable.
Why I Recommend Teppan Edo and why its in My Top 11 Disney World Restaurants
- Brilliant interactive experience.
- Authentic Japanese atmosphere.
- Fantastic steak.
- Great for families.
- Excellent service.
After visiting Japan myself, I genuinely think Disney has done a fantastic job recreating the experience.
My Rating: 9.5/10

| 3 | Via Napoli | EPCOT | 9.8/10 |
| 4 | Chefs de France | EPCOT | 9.5/10 |
| 5 | Teppan Edo | EPCOT | 9.5/10 |
One thing you’ll probably notice is that EPCOT dominates this list.
That’s not a coincidence.
In my opinion, EPCOT has comfortably the best collection of restaurants anywhere in Walt Disney World. If you’re a foodie, I genuinely believe you could spend an entire day eating your way around World Showcase and still wish you had more time.

6. San Angel Inn Restaurante – The Most Beautiful Atmosphere in Disney World
If I had to choose the Disney restaurant with the best atmosphere, I’d probably choose San Angel Inn Restaurante. Sitting inside the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT feels completely different from anywhere else in Walt Disney World.
This restaurant isn’t just somewhere to eat.
It’s an experience.
The first time I walked inside the Mexico Pavilion, I genuinely stopped for a moment just to take everything in.
It’s permanently night-time.
There’s soft lighting everywhere.
An enormous Mayan pyramid towers over the restaurant.
The boats from Gran Fiesta Tour gently sail past while people enjoy dinner.
It’s honestly one of the most immersive restaurants Disney has ever created.
Even after visiting several times, I still find myself looking around rather than immediately opening the menu.
What I Always Order
Main: Enchiladas
Drink: Frozen Margarita
The enchiladas are always my choice.
They’re packed with flavour, cooked perfectly and exactly the kind of comfort food I want after spending hours walking around EPCOT.
The margaritas are also excellent and probably some of my favourite cocktails in Disney.
Why I Keep Coming Back and why its in My Top 11 Disney World Restaurants
- Incredible atmosphere.
- Beautiful lighting.
- Located inside the Mexico Pavilion.
- Boats from Gran Fiesta Tour pass your table.
- Great Mexican food.

One extra tip…
If you’re planning on watching the evening fireworks around World Showcase Lagoon, this is a fantastic area to finish dinner.
You’re already in a brilliant location to find a viewing spot afterwards.
My Rating: 9.5/10

7. Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café – Pure Disney Nostalgia
Cosmic Ray’s isn’t on this list because it serves the best food in Disney. It’s here because every single visit reminds me why I fell in love with Walt Disney World in the first place.
Sometimes restaurants aren’t memorable because of incredible food.
Sometimes they’re memorable because of how they make you feel.
That’s exactly what Cosmic Ray’s does for me.
The menu is simple.
Burgers.
Chicken strips.
Fries.
Nothing particularly fancy.
But every time I walk through those doors and hear Sonny Eclipse performing on stage, it instantly feels like Disney.
It’s quirky.
It’s nostalgic.
And I absolutely love it.
What I Always Order
Main: Cheeseburger
Side: Fries
Drink: Coca-Cola
Simple.
Reliable.
Exactly what I want halfway through a Magic Kingdom day.
Why I Love Cosmic Ray’s
- Sonny Eclipse is a Disney legend.
- Huge seating area.
- Great air conditioning.
- Fast service.
- A real sense of nostalgia.
If you’ve never stopped to actually watch Sonny Eclipse perform, I’d encourage you to stay for a few minutes.
It’s one of those little Disney experiences that often gets overlooked but somehow becomes part of the memories you talk about afterwards.
My Rating: 9/10

8. Space 220 – One of the Most Unique Dining Experiences in Disney World
Space 220 isn’t just a restaurant—it’s one of the most impressive themed dining experiences Disney has ever created. From the moment you step into the space elevator, it genuinely feels like you’re leaving Earth behind.
I remember the first time I visited.
Even before we’d ordered anything, I knew I wanted to come back.
The experience starts with a space elevator that slowly “launches” you hundreds of miles above Earth.
As you travel upwards, the windows show EPCOT disappearing beneath you before eventually revealing Earth from space.
It’s incredibly well done.
Once you arrive inside the restaurant, the giant windows overlooking Earth are absolutely breathtaking.
You’ll often spot astronauts floating past.
Satellites drifting by.
Occasionally even a spacewalk taking place.
It’s one of the coolest restaurant concepts I’ve ever experienced.
What I Always Order
Main: Steak
Drink: One of the signature cocktails
I honestly think the cocktails here are among the best anywhere in Walt Disney World.
They’re creative, beautifully presented and fit perfectly with the futuristic theme.
Why I Love Space 220 and why its in My Top 11 Disney World Restaurants
- Incredible themed experience.
- Amazing cocktails.
- Fantastic views.
- Great service.
- One of Disney’s most unique restaurants.
If you’re celebrating a birthday or special occasion, this is definitely one I’d recommend booking.
My Rating: 9/10

9. The Hollywood Brown Derby – Classic Hollywood Elegance
The Hollywood Brown Derby is one of Disney’s most sophisticated restaurants. Inspired by the famous California restaurant of the same name, it offers fantastic food in a timeless Hollywood setting.
Walking into Brown Derby feels completely different from anywhere else in Hollywood Studios.
It’s quieter.
More relaxed.
Much more refined.
I really enjoy the atmosphere because it feels like stepping back into Hollywood’s golden age.
It’s the sort of restaurant where you naturally slow down and enjoy the meal rather than rushing back onto the rides.
What I Always Order
Main: Steak
The steak has always been consistently excellent whenever I’ve visited.
Perfectly cooked.
Great quality.
Exactly what I’d hope for from one of Disney’s signature restaurants.
Why I Recommend Brown Derby and why its in My Top 11 Disney World Restaurants
- Fantastic steak.
- Elegant atmosphere.
- Excellent service.
- One of Hollywood Studios’ best restaurants.
- Great for couples.
If you’re looking for a slightly more grown-up dining experience inside Hollywood Studios, I’d definitely recommend giving Brown Derby a try.
My Rating: 9/10
One thing this List has made me realise is just how dominant EPCOT is when it comes to food. If someone asked me which Disney park I’d choose purely for the restaurants, EPCOT would win comfortably. You can genuinely spend an entire day eating your way around World Showcase, trying authentic food from different countries and still leave wanting to come back for more.
If you’re still deciding where to stay, our guides to Where to Stay Near Disney World, Best Villa Resort Near Disney World, Luxury Private Pool Villas Orlando and Luxury Margarittaville Villas can help you choose the perfect location for your next Florida holiday.
10. Biergarten Restaurant – Great Food, Great Beer and Brilliant Entertainment
If you’re looking for a fun, lively restaurant in EPCOT, Biergarten is one of my favourite places to eat. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is fantastic and the live entertainment makes it feel like much more than just a buffet.
I’ll be honest…
Normally when I hear the word “buffet”, I don’t get particularly excited.
But Biergarten is completely different.
Located inside the Germany Pavilion, the restaurant is designed to look like you’re sitting in a traditional Bavarian village during an evening festival.
It’s such a clever idea.
The whole restaurant feels warm, welcoming and incredibly authentic.
Then the live band starts playing.
Everyone starts clapping.
People begin dancing.
The atmosphere completely changes.
It becomes one of the most enjoyable places to sit and spend an hour or two in EPCOT.
What I Always Eat
Whenever I visit, I normally fill my plate with:
- German sausages
- Roast pork
- Schnitzel
- Potato dishes
- Pretzel bread
And of course…
A large German beer.
The beer is fantastic and really adds to the whole experience.
Why I Love Biergarten
- Brilliant live entertainment.
- Great atmosphere.
- Fantastic German beer.
- Huge variety of food.
- Great value if you’re hungry.
If you’re someone who enjoys trying lots of different dishes rather than ordering just one meal, Biergarten is definitely worth considering.
My Rating: 9/10
11. La Hacienda de San Angel – My Top 11 Disney World Restaurants
La Hacienda de San Angel is one of my favourite restaurants for dinner in EPCOT. Great Mexican food, fantastic margaritas and beautiful views across World Showcase Lagoon make it the perfect place to end the day.
People often confuse this restaurant with San Angel Inn.
Although both are located in the Mexico Pavilion, they’re completely different experiences.
La Hacienda sits right on the edge of World Showcase Lagoon.
If you book an evening reservation, you’re treated to some incredible views while you eat.
It’s a much brighter restaurant than San Angel Inn and feels more modern, but I absolutely love both for different reasons.
What I Always Order
Main: Fajitas
Drink: Margarita
The fajitas are excellent.
Fresh.
Full of flavour.
And perfect for sharing.
The margaritas are also some of my favourites anywhere in Disney.
Why I Always Recommend It
- Amazing lagoon views.
- Fantastic Mexican food.
- Great cocktails.
- Lovely atmosphere.
- Brilliant evening location.
If you’re lucky enough to have a table by the window, it’s one of the nicest places in EPCOT to enjoy dinner.
My Rating: 9/10

Why are these My Top 11 Disney World Restaurants
These are my top 11. They’re very personal to me, there’s many other restaurants in Disney World, but these just are my personal favourites that I go to pretty much every single time I visit. Disney Springs is also filled with some amazing restaurants, but I’m strictly talking about the four main Disney parks. Some honourable mentions include Chef Mickey in the Contemporary Resort and also Rainforest Cafe in Animal Kingdom.
Which of my top 11 Disney World Restaurants Are Worth Booking in Advance?
Some Disney World restaurants are so popular that I strongly recommend booking them as soon as reservations become available. Restaurants such as Yak & Yeti, Space 220, Via Napoli and Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant are among the Disney World restaurants that can fill up quickly, particularly during school holidays and busy seasons.
If I know I’m travelling to Orlando, these are usually the first reservations I make.
In my experience, it’s much easier to change a reservation later than to find availability at the last minute.
If I had to prioritise just five Disney World restaurants to book early, they would be:
- Yak & Yeti
- Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant
- Via Napoli
- Space 220
- Teppan Edo
Those five restaurants have consistently provided some of my favourite meals across all of Walt Disney World.
Top 11 Disney World Restaurants by Park: My Personal Winners
Every Disney park offers something different, but if I had to choose the best Disney World restaurants in each park, these would be my personal recommendations after years of visiting Orlando.
Although EPCOT dominates my rankings overall, I genuinely think every Disney park has at least one restaurant that’s worth planning your day around.
One thing I love doing is building my park itinerary around lunch or dinner reservations. It gives you a chance to escape the Florida heat, recharge and enjoy another side of Disney that many people overlook.
My Tips for Choosing the Right Top 11 Disney World Restaurants
Choosing the right Disney World restaurants depends on more than just the menu. I always look at the atmosphere, the overall experience, the location within the park and whether I’d happily return on my next holiday.
When I’m deciding where to eat, these are the things I think about most:
- Is the restaurant something I can’t experience anywhere else?
- Does it offer a unique atmosphere?
- Would I happily recommend it to friends and family?
- Is the food consistently good?
- Is it somewhere I genuinely look forward to visiting every holiday?
For me, the answer isn’t always the most expensive restaurant.
Sometimes it’s sitting inside a 1950s car at Sci-Fi Dine-In.
Sometimes it’s enjoying garlic noodles at Yak & Yeti.
Sometimes it’s sharing a giant pizza with my brother at Via Napoli.
Those experiences are why these Disney World restaurants have become traditions rather than simply places to eat.

Final Thoughts on My Top 11 Disney World Restaurants
Food has become one of the biggest reasons I look forward to visiting Walt Disney World. Of course, the attractions are incredible, but some of my favourite memories have actually been sitting around a table with family after a brilliant meal, talking about our favourite rides from the day and planning what we’re going to do tomorrow.
That’s why every restaurant on this list means something to me.
They’re not just places to eat.
They’re places that have become part of our family traditions.
I’m sure your own rankings would probably be different, and that’s one of the things I love about Disney. Everyone has their own favourites.
If you’ve never visited any of the restaurants on this list, I hope this guide helps you decide where to book first.
And if you see me in the queue at Yak & Yeti…
There’s a very good chance I’ll be ordering the 44 Farms Burger with a side of garlic noodles all over again.
