There’s just one restaurant at Solterra Resort, but if you find yourself in need of a few more amenities, such as a large variety of restaurants, shops and services, you could always take a short drive to the nearby ChampionsGate Resort, which also has two world renowned golf courses and a golf school.
Cafe Sol Bar and Grill at Solterra Resort
The Cafe Sol Bar and Grill at Solterra Resort is open from Wednesday to Sunday for lunch and poolside snacking with both indoor and outdoor seating available.
The menu is varied with a grill menu, pizza menu, sandwiches, and separate appetisers, sandwiches and salad menus. From the appetisers, sandwiches and salads the standout options are the (giant!) Bavarian Pretzel and Beer Cheese, the Beer Battered Onion Rings, Caesar Salad and the Meatball Hoagie that’s topped with marinara sauce and gooey melted provolone cheese. The grill has a delicious selection of burgers, ribs and sausages, the best of which is the vegetarian Chipotle Black Bean Burger and the Sweet Italian Sausage, while the pizza menu offers classics such as Meatlovers Pizza, Hawaiian Flatbread and Cheese pizza – all lovingly prepared and served hot with fresh ingredients.
The Cafe Sol Bar and Grill also serves ice cream and cakes, alongside a small selection of wines and beers, and there’s a soda fountain for soft drinks.
Restaurants At ChampionsGate Resort
If you need a little more variety in your dining options, then we suggest a visit to the vast ChampionsGate Resort. Alongside a broad selection of chain restaurants, cafes and bars you’ll find an eclectic set of dining options that covers everything from Asian fine dining to regional American breakfasts.
Our picks of the best restaurants at ChampionsGate Resort are Zen, an elegant fine dining restaurant that serves a mouthwatering menu of Chinese classics next to Japanese Sushi and Sake, Trevi’s Terrace that we think is just perfect for al fresco Italian light bites and cocktails, and David’s Club which offers a refined mix of hotel lobby bar, grill restaurant and members club (but you don’t need a membership to get in), which serves an excellent selection of steaks, burgers and bistro-like mains and appetisers.
Restaurants At Reunion Resort
If you’d like a few more dining options still, then with options including laidback American Fare, Japanese Sushi, and traditional Italian cuisine, the stunning Reunion Resort is a wonderful place to experience some of the area’s best restaurants – and it’s just a 20 minute drive away.
Our favourite restaurants at Reunion Resort are Forte, an exquisite Italian restaurant serving traditional Tuscan and Italian fare with an excellent Italian wine list, the laidback Grande Lobby Sushi Bar in the lobby of the Reunion Grande, and finally the fabulous Eleven Restaurant on the top floor of the Reunion Grande, which boasts unbeatable vistas of the surrounding area and views of the nightly fireworks shows, as well as a delectable menu of American and International classics all wrapped up in an elegant, beautifully decorated interior.
